Welcome new friends!

Whether you found me on Instagram or browsing through Pinterest, I’m so glad you’re here!

If we’ve never met before …

Hey there! my name is Stacy Canzonieri. I’m a 40-something mother to 3 girls – one in high school, one in middle school, and one in diapers. I’m also a professional photographer with more than 8 years of experience behind the lens at Stacy Mae Photography. When my first two were born more than a decade ago, I was obsessed with trying to capture every fleeting moment of their childhood. Boy how I wish I had known then what I know now! The images in my camera never matched what I saw with my own eyes. This time around I am so excited to discover motherhood with a whole new set of eyes. And I’d love for you to join me!

When I don’t have a camera in my hand, you’ll probably find me watching Fixer Upper, creeping home decor blogs, or browsing Home Goods for things my husband says we don’t need. We have a rescue pup named Lady who we adore and would happily adopt all.the.puppies if we could. I prefer tea, not coffee, chocolate after every meal, the beach over the pool, and Harry Potter is our go-to rainy day movie marathon of choice.

I started this blog as a way to document the first year of Olivia’s life. I wanted this to be a space where you could come to get a sneak peek into our daily life and also find some photography ideas and inspiration. I love helping moms learn how to photograph their kids more creatively. It’s not as hard as you think!

I learned pretty quickly that our best laid plans don’t always work out the way we want. Postpartum recovery has been slow and I haven’t been able to keep up with blogging and running a business like I thought. Still, I’m determined to get back on the horse. I’ll be updating the blog with the last 9 months of Miss Olivia’s life and then once I’m caught up, I’ll be posting once a week. I hope you’ll join me on this journey called motherhood! We could all use a little pick me up now and then, right?
