They pee! A lot! Yup, that’s the truth about newborns and what it’s like to photograph them. New parents are always so embarrassed when it happens, like their child is the only one who has ever had an accident, but it’s almost never the case. I get peed and pooped on all the time! It’s really no big deal. I’ve learned over the years to buy blankets that wash really well and to be honest, I’m probably more embarrassed than my clients if it happens on their furniture.
Like Mr. Nicholas here. He soaked through his diaper twice and then finally decided to make it a third time shortly after this naked shot! I felt so bad, but mom and I joked that newborn pee is like water anyway. At least it wasn’t a toddler!
