The First Step Toward Chasing Your Dreams

I posted this on my Instagram today and I thought it might be fun to let you in on a little secret. Well, it’s not really a secret, rather something I’ve been keeping close to my heart for a while now. I have big dreams. Big plans for the future.

All of it centers around a studio space. I don’t necessarily need one. I’m a natural light photographer after all so I could do my job from anywhere. But a studio space would allow me to host fun workshops and events for women. It’s something I’ve been dreaming about a lot lately. A beautifully decorated home studio space where I could hold classes and sessions as well. It would be the perfect way for me to merge my love of photography and teaching.

The first step towards chasing my dream is saying it out loud. Maybe by putting it out in the universe, I’ll be held accountable. Every step after this one will help get me closer. So right here, right now, I am giving myself a deadline. This time next summer I will offer my first class in my brand new studio. Will you join me?
