It’s here, it’s here, it’s here!! Happy April Fool’s Day! This is no joke though. This is the brand new Stacy Mae Photography! What do you think of the newly designed site? I am so in love! It was finished in the middle of March, but then I jetted off to the Heidi Hope Baby Boutique workshop and never got a chance to show it off. It actually worked out perfectly though because the workshop inspired me to host this launch party and re-introduce you to Stacy Mae Photography as a boutique business. I always thought boutique meant more expensive, but that’s not true. It’s actually about building relationships with your clients so that they become loyal to your business and your brand. I think I was doing this all along without really knowing it. Well now it’s going to be a conscious effort on my part to focus on making each session a unique experience and something my clients will remember forever.

So let’s get the party started! For the next 5 days, I’ll be introducing what’s new at Stacy Mae Photography. You can check out my dorky video up there and here are the details too. First, I want you to browse around the website. Check out my welcome page, the nice things people had to say about me, and then go visit my portfolio. Once you’ve done that, come back here and leave a comment and let me know your favorite image on the portfolio page. Your comment will be your entry into today’s giveaway. What it is, you ask?
I’ll be choosing one random winner to receive my Intro to Photography PDF. This is what I use when I teach classes for moms who want to take better pictures of their children. It’s a 21 page PDF with tips on finding the best light, shooting indoors, getting to know your camera, and more. You’ll also be added to my private FB group where you can ask questions and get feedback. I am on there too sharing fun blog posts and tutorials. You can also email me to set up a time to chat via Skype or Facetime and we’ll talk about anything you want that’s photography related. Or my obsession with chocolate. Whatever floats your boat!

Stacy, the site looks terrific! I think it mirrors your personality and style. I treasure the moments you have captured of my family because they are not just static photos, they highlight individuals personalities. For me, even more than just remembering how someone looks, your photos show what someone is “like”… The happy go lucky golden retriever, or the little girl who loves her bunny. It is inspiring to see someone blessed with such talent grow!

Hi Stacy! I LOVE the new website – it’s gorgeous! I have to say, my favorite image is the one with the siblings, where the older one is helping to zipper the younger one’s jacket. How incredibly sweet! Looking forward to our Mother’s Day session in a few weeks!

Hi Stacy! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea! What a great and exciting way to not only promote your business but to get to know you better! On the portfolio page I love the picture on the brother and sister on the blanket and it looks like the brother is kissing his sister. I also love the shot of the parents looking at the little girl. It’s in the Family section of your portfolio. I think it’s one of the first pictures when you click on the link. The little girl is wearing a blue and red outfit. Love the way you captured her beautiful smile with her parents looking at her.
P.S. I don’t think your video is dorky! LOL Love how real you are!
My favorite picture is in children’s… The one of the girl in the red, white, and blue is amazing. I love how natural the portrait is.

I have to say, my fave pic (today at least) is the B&W of the family where the mom and daughter are sharing (pizza?) and the father/son are interacting. It’s so “real life” and representative of an everyday family…love love love it.

Hey!! Tell that Sebastian to stop growing!! I love that B&W too. I took it at a workshop with Wildflowers Photography at this amazing farm in Pennsylvania. The photographer styled it, but I SOOO wish I could do more shoots like this. The mom and little girl are eating pancakes. That’s their Saturday morning routine. So she made a stack of pancakes and brought them to the farm. It was so fun!

The site looks beautiful! I especially love the photo of the two toddlers with the little boy helping his sister with her jacket as I have triplets and love to try to capture how they help each other out and aren’t always arguing. Good luck!

First, the site looks amazing! So fresh, clean and easy to navigate! My favorite photo has to be the b+w blonde haired blue eyed girl on the children tab. No props, no fancy background just raw beauty you captured!! Also, I would have to say I love all the Little Lovies. Such innocence captured. Hopefully we can look back and remember said innocence when they are teenagers 🙂

I really like the black and white photo of the family at a table top. It was a tough choice cause the one of the two babies wrapped up laying together is precious.
Maybe it’s because I have a toddler, but I love the precious moment under CHILDREN with the two kids helping each other out with their coats!
Love all the amazing outdoor family shots and the tiny newborns….especially those cute twins.

Hi Stacy – the website looks awesome! It was tough to pick a favorite because all the pictures are gorgeous! But, the one that stands out to me is the last picture under “family”. It is a black and white picture of a family eating. Different and beautiful!
