Lifestyle Newborn Session – NJ Newborn Photographer

It’s been a few weeks of babies over here and that’s just fine with me since the weather is taking forever to warm up! What is the deal with winter?? It just doesn’t want to go away!

Samuel was a fighter. He didn’t want to sleep for his newborn session, but the thing I’ve learned over the years is to simply wait it out. Eventually they all fall asleep! There are definitely things you can do to help that along. One of the key factors is heat! Babies like it warm. Like, really warm. If you’re not sweating, then it’s not warm enough! The other thing is food. Sounds obvious, but a lot of times I think moms feel like they need to rush because I’m there and they feel bad that I’m waiting around, but that’s so not true! I’d much rather have a happy, well fed baby. I can always catch up on email from my phone!
