I had mentioned wanting to do this on Facebook a few weeks ago and a lot of you seemed interested. I kind of let the idea slide a bit, but after talking to a friend who thought her daughter would love it, I’m excited to get the ball rolling.

Do your kids love taking pictures? Are they always stealing your phone to snap selfies? Would they like to learn about photography in a fun, simple way? Kids Who Click is the class for them!
Photography is an important part of my world. My kids always see me with a camera, whether it’s my ‘big camera’ or my cell phone. I’m constantly snapping pictures. I love it when they take an interest and want to participate. My oldest loves to create stories with the images she takes and my little one is obsessed with making silly faces.
If your kids are anything like mine, they are going to love Kids Who Click. It will be fun and informative. I’ll be covering basic concepts like light and focus as well as creative aspects like the rule of thirds and framing. We’re also going to play games!
Kids Who Click is intended for kids ages 7 and older. The class will be 2 hours and will be held in Florham Park, NJ.
This is not a drop off class for kids. I expect parents to stay and have fun with their kiddos (you might learn a few things too!). The only requirement is a camera. It can be a point and shoot, a DSLR, or a cell phone. As long as they can view the images they are taking, it’ll work. Bonus points if you are using an IPhone and have Instagram. I was thinking of a fun way to show off the kids work!
The cost for the class will be $50. If you have a sibling who might be interested or you’re a mom of twins, the second child will be 50% off. Classes are limited to no more than 8 kids. Please email me to find out the next date! stacy@stacymaephotography.com
