I don’t know about you, but my family and I are in the holiday mood and these holiday crafts are some of my favorite activities to do with the girls to kick off the holiday season. I love a simple, easy craft to do with Olivia because it’s fun and it’s a great bonding moment. Until one of us gets frustrated. Lol!

Here are some cute and simple crafts you can do with your kids to help get into the holiday spirit…
Cardboard Cellophane Ornaments
Supplies:
-Cardboard
-Colorful Cellophane
-Paint To Match The Cellophane
-Glue Stick
-String to Hang
-Exacto Knife or Scissors
Instructions:
- Draw an ornament on cardboard and use an Exacto Knife to cut it out.
- Pick your favorite cellophane color.
- Match the paint color to the color of the cellophane as best you can & paint the ornaments.
- Glue the cellophane to the back of your cardboard ornament and trim the edges.
- Now hang your ornaments up somewhere you get a lot of sun.
Now you can look for some cute colorful reflections with your littles!
Coffee Filter Snowflakes
Supplies:
-Markers
-Coffee Filters
-Scissors
-Spray Bottle or Dropper
Instructions:
- Draw a few patters on the coffee filter with the markers
- Squirt the coffee filter with water & let the color run and then let it dry
- Fold it in half & then in half again & then fold in half again (make sure it is lined up), you can fold it up as many times as you want for all different designs
- Cut some fun patterns out on the coffee filter
- Then unfold & you will have your cute little coffee filter snowflakes
Paint Your Own Christmas Tree
Supplies:
-Paintable Cardboard or wooden Paintable Christmas Tree
-Paint
Instructions:
- Have your little one choose their paint colors & just let them paint the tree however they want
Then use this as a great opportunity to jump in the memory with them & capture this moment! Just like I was talking about at the beginning of the blog! You being in the picture with them is so important, I promise your kids will be grateful for those memories when they are older.
