Family Memories Are Important To Make & Capture

I believe that motherhood is a gift and that there’s magic sprinkled all around us if we just have eyes to see it. I believe everyone has a story to tell and that it deserves to be captured in photographs. I believe in the memory keepers, the ones who collect moments and tuck them away for a rainy day to reminisce. I believe in the power of pictures to bring us together. I believe photos are meant to be printed, not hidden on a hard drive or lost in the cloud.

I’m obsessed with creating and capturing memories with my family. And one of my passions is helping teach you how to do the same for your family! I share lots of tips, tricks and things every month with the Memory Keeper’s Club, check it out HERE

Just a heads up that some of the links you’ll see are affiliate links so I would earn a small commission if you purchase, we so appreciate your support!

How often are you taking out your camera for everyday moments? Like sharing a cup of hot cocoa with your sisters after school.

It might not seem worthy of a snapshot, but these simple pleasures are exactly the kind of memories I hope they treasure one day.

I’m not sure how many more of these days I’ll get with all 3 of my girls together. My oldest works a lot now so we have to schedule in time to make memories. And I want to make sure I’m documenting them!!

This is part of the reason I wanted to create the Memory Keepers Club. To inspire and encourage you to see the beauty in your everyday life. And to motivate you to photograph those simple moments! And the other part is to make sure you’re showing up in your memories. I handed the camera over to my 15 year old and asked her to take a few photos of me and Olivia. If you don’t have a teenager to help, use the self timer on your phone.

Another fun way of capturing memories is by getting your kid an Instax Camera…

You captured all these beautiful memories, now what?

There are so many things you can do with the pictures you take.

-Make photo books.

-Ornaments for your tree.

-Gifts for loved ones.

-In frames on the wall.

-Calendars, blankets, mugs and more.

Your family’s most treasured moments deserve to live outside of your phone or your hard drive. This is your reminder. PRINT! PRINT! PRINT!

Let me know if this was helpful and if you capture some small moments with your family don’t forget to share it with me on instagram @stacymaeandco and follow me!
