5 Winter Birthday Party Ideas

Even though it’s February, and were smack in the middle of a ferocious winter storm, adorable little bundles of joy are still being born…and every year they are having the same winter birthday….I know you scramble every year, as a parent, because what can you possibly do for a winter birthday and have it be just as fun (if not more fun!) than a summer party? Well, I want to help! Below are FIVE winter birthday party ideas to help you =)
  1. Have a pool party! Yes I said POOL. There are many health clubs in your area that will plan an indoor swim party for your child. These parties usually consist of an hour of swim and another hour of drying off/pizza/cake/and wrap up. Bring your own food snacks and cake to keep the cost down. Suggestion: have your guests come with their suits under their winter clothes so changing doesn’t take time away from the hour of swim.
  2. If you have some room in your basement or a family member’s home, bring the zoo to you! Places like Outragehisss Pets come to you and have mini petting zoo and instruction for kids. there are up to 8 animals brought in cages from rabbits to snakes. You supply the food for the kiddos to keep your costs down.
  3. Kidnetic! Kidnetic is a place located in Montville, NJ. It has a 3 story obstacle course for kids to roam all around, as well as small inflatable bounce ramp. You can hire a “character” to appear at the party and two to three party attendants help you with all the festivities throughtout and before the 2.5 hour party. Invitations are also supplied as part of the package.
  4. A movie party! Some small movie theaters in the area will allow a private viewing for your child and his/her friends.
  5. A JUMP Party! Any of your areas local “jump tank” parties are avaible and are a great indoor idea. They provide all the necessities from food to goodie bags to make the party complete.
My little one will be turning 7 in March (which is still technically winter) and we’re having a Frozen birthday party! If you have little girls, I am sure they are obsessed with the new Disney movie just like my own. Check out my Pinterest page for some ideas on how to incorporate this theme into your own winter wonderland. You can also download some fun printables here.
I hope this list helps! Have fun planning your winter birthday, and don’t forget…take lots of pictures!!!
