One of my favorite things about Christmas is getting holiday cards in the mail. It’s like opening up a present every day! I love displaying them throughout the house too. In my own home, I usually tape them up around the doorway in my living room like this. When I am sitting on the couch, I can see them and it makes my heart so happy to know that my friends and family are close by. The kids love checking out what new cards I’ve hung up too.

I love this idea from Thyme is Honey using washi tape. She created this adorable tree by placing the tape on the wall in evenly spaced rows then alternating string/tinsel on each layer using tacks to hold it in place. You can find the full tutorial here.

How simple is this idea from Greener Grass Handmade? All she did was take some pretty ribbon and wrap it around the cabinet doors. She used clothes pins to hang the cards and that’s it! Genius! You can find the full tutorial here.

This one requires a little more effort, but I love it. Pearls, Handcuffs, and Happy Hour (by the way, how cute is that blog name?) used shutters to display her holiday cards. She spray painted them red and hung them on the wall. I do this as well, but my shutters were purchased from Home Goods. I cannot be trusted with spray paint. Lol!

And finally, this is one I want to try this year. I have a ton of old frames in my basement that would be perfect for this! Reasons to Skip the Housework shares how she turned an old frame her husband found on the side of the road into a great way to display her holiday cards. Also she needed was spray paint, clothespins, and some Christmas lights. Again, simple but beautiful!
