Happy Friday! I hope you all had a good week and that you are ready for some warmer temperatures this weekend! This is my weekly wrap-up with all my favorite finds. Enjoy 🙂
1. Do you have any dinner table rituals? My family and I go around to each person and ask for their ‘rose’ and ‘thorn’ of the day. It’s something we heard President Barack Obama does with his girls and I thought it would be fun to incorporate into our routine. The point for me is to highlight that even though you may have a bad day, you can always find something positive to focus on, no matter how small. The kids are pretty good at it, but I did have to remind my husband one night after he said there was nothing good about his day. It was a perfect teaching moment. I asked him to think harder and told the girls that even though you might have a fight with your friend or mess up on your math test, there is always something that you can be grateful for. Finally, he said coming home to his family was his ‘rose’ for the day. So, to remind you to always look on the bright side, I created this free printable.

2. I want to share with you a fun new app I discovered called Red Stamp. If you want to send a note to a friend, missed your mom’s birthday and need to get a card out ASAP, or want to invite some gal pals over for a cocktail, Red Stamp has you covered. You can send paper cards and postcards as well as e-cards. There are over 1,000 designs and all of them are so awesome. Check it out!
3. I did something outside of my comfort zone this week. I photographed jewelry. A friend of mine has a new website she’s about to launch and I’m so excited for her. Here’s just a quick peek.
4. I’ve been photographing so many newborns these past few weeks and it’s been a lot of fun. I’m getting more and more comfortable switching up poses and trying new things. This little peanut did something that I’ve never experienced before. Typically when I get babies on their belly, they drift off to sleep and you can squish ’em and curl ’em up. This little guy stayed awake! He was so calm and looked so darn sweet laying on his belly. I just love this shot!
5. And last, but not least, I’m sharing something I pinned this week. I am totally going to make this!!
