2016 In Home Family Session Special

Even though the weather outside is frightful, winter is the perfect time of year to photograph your family. In home family sessions are meant to be a relaxed, easy going way to capture everyday images of your family with your home as the backdrop. I LOVE these types of sessions and want to shoot more of them!! FYI, lifestyle sessions are not for you if you love perfectly posed, everybody looking at the camera portraits. They are about capturing moments! Lots of detail shots, movement, and emotion.
So to flex my lifestyle photography muscles I am offering a SPECIAL BOOKING INCENTIVE! If you schedule an in home lifestyle session in January, February or March you will receive 20 digital images for $500. That includes the session fee! You can choose to have a traditional session or try out the new video sessions. I’ll just need to know beforehand so that we can plan an activity! This special is good for families, children, and newborns. Just a quick note, if you’re interested in booking for a newborn session, check out my website to find out more about my style. Newborn sessions are just like family sessions. No props. No beanbag posing. Just you and your new bundle of joy snuggling and loving on each other.

Here’s a little more info about what an in home family session is like. I know what most of you are thinking. I can barely get my kids out the door for a photo shoot without a meltdown, let alone get the house clean and presentable. I hear you! But, I’m not there to photograph your house. I’m there to photograph the people IN your house. We’ll focus on 1-3 rooms that get good light. Just worry about those rooms and clean up any clutter or toys. Not too clean though. You want your home to look lived in. Leave the laundry piled up in a back room and dirty dishes in the sink. We can always move stuff around if need be.

I’m also going to ask you about things you enjoy doing together. We’ll plan an activity to help capture those genuine, meaningful moments that make your family special. We can do something fun like bake cookies, read a book, listen to music, color, paint, play in the sprinklers, or have a pillow fight! Let yourself go and fully enjoy the moment and this special time with your family.

Your wardrobe should be casual – something you’d wear on a lazy Saturday at home. Ok maybe not that casual! My lazy day wardrobe includes sweat pants and a hoodie. Ha! I recommend dressing Mom first in something comfortable that makes her feel confident and beautiful, then the kiddos (coordinating, but not matchy-matchy), and lastly Dad. Avoid large graphics or words, but don’t be afraid of prints and patterns. For littles, make sure their clothes fit well and snug.

Really the most important thing is to have fun!

If you want to take advantage of this LIMITED TIME OFFER email me! Sessions will be booked weekday mornings or I have a limited number of Saturday afternoon sessions available (FYI, Saturday sessions are almost full!)
